Emily Zakowski is a 2020-2021 Young Agri-Food Leaders Network participant. Emily currently works as an Environmental Scientist in the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA)’s Office of Pesticide Consultation and Analysis. Her work includes policy analysis relating to pest management and sustainable agriculture.

Prior to her work at CDFA, Emily worked at the Environmental Defense Fund to promote pollinator conservation on working lands.

Emily earned a MS in Environmental Policy and Management from University of California, Davis in 2019 and a BS in Biology from the George Washington University in 2016.
