For the past seven years, Dr. Garth Boyd has been a Partner at The Context Network, an agriculture focused consulting group that works on strategy, management and market intelligence around global food chain issues. Over the past four decades, Garth has had a range of leadership experiences in production agriculture, academia, extension, agribusiness and now consulting. He specializes in animal protein sustainability. He has lectured in most every state in the U.S. and numerous other countries.

Garth received a Ph.D. degree in the Study of Beef Cattle Reproduction from Kansas State University (1987). A B.S. degree in Animal Science and graduated Cum Laude from The University of Georgia (1980) and an Animal Reproduction degree from The University of Georgia (1982).

Garth and his wife Maria operate a cattle and sheep ranch in the high country of Colorado.
