Carl Pray is a Distinguished Professor in the Agricultural, Food and Resource Economics Department, Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. His PhD in Economic History is from the University of Pennsylvania. His research is on agricultural science and technology policy in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. It has been published in 100+ articles in journals such as Science, Nature, Economic Development and Cultural Change, and Research Policy as well as eight books and 50 book chapters.
