My name is Kayla Scott, and I am from Mineral City, Ohio. I completed my undergraduate degree at The Ohio State University in December 2023 majoring in Animal Science with a minor in Meat Science. Currently, I am in the first year of my master’s degree also at Ohio State with my focus being Small Ruminant Extension and Research. Currently, I am part of our college’s Animal Science Graduate Student Association and will serve as our secretary this year. After graduation, I hope to work at the state level as an extension specialist for small ruminants/livestock.
