I am an Assistant Professor of Economics in the Department of Business and Data Science at Chatham University, Pittsburgh. I finished my PhD from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2019. 

I am an environmental and natural resource economist. My interests also extend to development economics, economic history, and institutional economics. Currently, I am engaged in research in three areas: 1) Evolution of Land Conservation Policies in the post-Dust Bowl USA, 2) Land Issues in Developing Countries, and 3) Housing and other land policies in the USA.
