Sylvester Miller, a proud resident of Somerville, Tennessee, brings a wealth of experiences and achievements to the table. He graduated from the University of Kentucky's Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food, and Environment in 2008, with a Bachelor's in Agricultural Economics.

 

Sylvester has spent over 16 years working in corporate agriculture, with stints at Syngenta, Monsanto, BAYER Crop Science, and Indigo Ag. Currently, he holds a significant role as the US Crop Technology Market Manager at FMC, where he leads the way for innovative platforms like PrecisionPac and the 3RIVE 3D application system.

 

He's not just a forward-thinking professional but also a dedicated leader in the agricultural community. Sylvester proudly serves as the President of the UK Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences (MANRRS) Alumni Association, highlighting his dedication to diversity and inclusion in the industry. He also represents MANRRS on the University of Kentucky Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food, and Environment Alumni Association and is a member of the University of Kentucky Alumni Association, showcasing his commitment to building connections and fostering progress.

 

Outside of his agricultural work, Sylvester is involved in various organizations, holding positions on the Board of Directors for the Farm Foundation, Big Country Veterans, and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Kappa Tau Chapter. This multifaceted involvement demonstrates his dedication to both professional and community development.
