With over 20 years of experience, Heather is a dedicated advocate for agricultural worker health and safety. As Program Director, she leads initiatives to improve working conditions and protect vulnerable populations. Focusing on occupational health and safety, community engagement, and climate impacts on health, she has successfully led numerous state-funded outreach, training, and research projects, including the Statewide Agriculture and Farmworker Education (SAFE) program and the California Farmworker Housing Study. Committed to working with everyone in agriculture to achieve the shared goal of safe workplaces, Heather is a recognized leader in addressing the complex challenges facing agricultural workers.
