Dr. Genti Kostandini is a professor at the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics, University of Georgia. His areas of interests include labor economics, development economics and the evaluation of the impacts of new technologies and policies in agriculture. During the last 10 years his research has mainly focused on the effects of immigration policies in the US and their effects on the agricultural sector paying particular attention to several outcomes such as farm production, product mix, and the substitution between undocumented and documented labor as well as labor and technology in agriculture. He obtained his MS and PhD from Virginia Tech. He is a native of Albania.
