Speaker Bio

Tim Brennan helps ensure Farm Foundation's work doesn't stop with good ideas—it leads to meaningful progress for agriculture. As Vice President of Programs and Strategic Impact, he guides the organization's portfolio of research, leadership development, educational initiatives, and strategic convenings, helping identify emerging challenges while creating programs that strengthen agriculture and rural communities for the future.

With more than two decades of experience in higher education, fundraising, marketing, program development, and strategic planning, Tim brings a unique ability to connect people, ideas, and evidence in ways that inspire action. His career has included leadership roles at major universities and consulting organizations, where he developed initiatives that built partnerships, expanded engagement, and delivered measurable results. At Farm Foundation, he applies that experience to create opportunities for collaboration, learning, and innovation across the food and agricultural system.

Raised on a farm in northeast Ohio and now living on a small farm south of Chicago, Tim's lifelong connection to agriculture continues to shape his work. He believes the industry's future depends on developing new leaders, encouraging thoughtful dialogue, and transforming innovative ideas into practical solutions.

Outside of Farm Foundation, Tim is an active member of his community, serving on several nonprofit and civic boards while also pursuing a growing career as an artist, with work exhibited in galleries throughout the Chicagoland area.
