Raghela Scavuzzo began with Illinois Farm Bureau in 2017 as the Local Foods Program Manager in the Governmental Affairs and Commodities Division. In 2018 she became the Executive Director for the Illinois Specialty Growers Association and moved into Associate Director of Food Systems Development for Illinois Farm Bureau in 2019.

In her position, Raghela is responsible for developing and coordinating farmers and food market channels for local food initiatives, food safety, and work on behalf of the specialty crop industry. She oversees program and resource development and policy reform on behalf of farmers for the food system and specialty crops. She serves on state, federal, and regional boards and councils to help represent the industry.
