Round Table Fellow Barry Bogseth is a former managing director and head of the MetLife Investment Management Agricultural Strategies Group. In that role, he was responsible for management of the company's agricultural loan portfolio with oversight of loan approvals, pricing, underwriting, new business development and portfolio strategy.

Bogseth joined MetLife in 1988 and had served in various capacities prior to his role as managing director, including originating and servicing both agribusiness and traditional farm and ranch estate loans as a territory field representative in both the Midwest and East-Central Regions of the U.S.  He also served as Regional Director overseeing the origination and administration of a regional loan portfolio.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Ag Economics and a MBA from the University of Nebraska.

Barry and his wife Shelley reside at their family ranch home just outside of Omaha, Nebraska and have two grown daughters.
