Bruce was raised on a diversified row-crops and livestock family farm in Washington, Iowa. He received his B.S. in Biometry and M.S. and Ph.D. in Plant Breeding and Genetics from Iowa State University. Over his career, Bruce has developed plant improvements to increase the productivity and sustainability of food grade corn, field corn, soybeans, wheat, canola, and cotton for farmers in the U.S. and internationally. Bruce enjoys developing innovative solutions for farm operations while helping agriculture embrace the digital era. He has held leadership roles spanning strategy, research and development, and commercial deployment of a diversity of crop technologies and systems. Bruce is a former recipient of the Bayer Crop Science Impact Award and currently serves as the Vice President and Head of Pipeline Delivery for Hawaii and Marana, AZ.
