Faith Aiya is originally from Edo State, Nigeria, and is a fourth-year Ph.D. candidate in Food and Resource Economics at the University of Florida, specializing in consumer and behavioral economics. Her research examines consumer preferences and decision-making in agricultural markets, with implications for agribusiness marketing and policy.

Faith currently serves as Vice President of the UF Graduate Student Council and previously served as Director of Graduate Student Affairs in UF Student Government. Her accomplishments include winning the 2025 AAEA Graduate Student Case Study Competition, placing third in the 2025 IFAMA Global Venture Building Challenge, and receiving several notable scholarships. She has presented her research at national and international conferences. Following graduation, Faith hopes to pursue a career in academia or applied research, contributing to agricultural marketing research, teaching, and student development.
