Megan is a Senior Investment Manager with Climate Asset Management (CAM), a new institutional natural capital asset manager sponsored by HSBC Asset Management and Pollination (climate change advisory firm). Megan is responsible for CAM’s US activities, its impact measurement and management framework, and for the environmental assets portfolio within CAM’s natural capital strategy.

Megan has 20 years of experience in real asset development (AES Corporation), project finance (Citi) and investment (Alinda Capital Partners) on five continents. She previously served as Senior Adviser to Javelin Capital on renewable energy projects in Latin America, where she co-developed the largest wind farm in the Caribbean, and as blue carbon lead for Oceans 2050 Foundation, where she led the effort to create a new voluntary carbon market for seaweed aquaculture. She also founded and ran an impact-focused retail business and advised funds, foundations and operating companies on climate and impact investing. She is a National Council member of World Wildlife Fund and serves on the boards of Fondo Mexicano para la Conservacion de la Naturaleza and Environmental Voter Project, and until May chaired the board of the congressionally chartered National Environmental Education Foundation.
