William served as Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency from 1989 to 1993. For over 20 years he was a Senior Advisor to TPG Capital, an international investment partnership, and the Founding Partner of Aqua International Partners. He served as president and chairman of the board of World Wildlife Fund; president of The Conservation Foundation; and director of the Rockefeller Task Force on Land Use and Urban Growth. Mr. Reilly has chaired the boards of the Global Water Challenge, the Climate Works Foundation and the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions at Duke University. He serves on the Executive Committee of the U.S. Water Partnership and the board of the Center for Strategic and International Studies. His corporate board service has included DuPont, ConocoPhillips, Enviva Biomass, and Royal Caribbean. Reilly co-founded with Mrs David Rockefeller the American Farmland Trust, and has stewarded his family’s 200-acre grain farm since his father’s death in 2006. The farm has been in the Reilly family for 80 years.
