Mike has 14 years of engineering and management experience. He began his career in Test and Measurement at National Instruments (NI). Mike was on the forefront of developing and bringing NI’s new technology to market. He broke ground for NI in Hardware-in-the-Loop by developing algorithms and plug-ins for automotive applications. He was the technical lead for NI’s Wireless Test System software stack and integrated mobile phone test systems in characterization labs and manufacturing facilities.

Mike continued his career at the Climate Corporation as an engineering manager and senior staff engineer. As engineering manager, he led the rapid increase in equipment compatibility for the FieldView Drive and introduced new data layers to the FieldView platform such as anhydrous, liquid, granular, silage, and cotton. As senior staff engineer, Mike led the manufacturing and compliance testing efforts for the FieldView Drive, and he led Data Quality initiatives to identify, tag, and improve quality of equipment generated agronomic data.

In 2021, Mike joined Sabanto, a Farming-as-a-Service company that performs field operations using autonomous equipment, where he leads Research and Development of algorithms, AI/ML, and equipment compatibility. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Vanderbilt University in 2007.
