Eliza Fournier is the Urban Farm Center Director at the College of Lake County. With a deep-rooted commitment to sustainable food access, Eliza Fournier has established herself as a prominent urban agriculture expert in the dynamic landscape of the Chicagoland area. Her expertise spans from community garden development and vertical farming to educational outreach, all aimed at fostering a healthier, more resilient urban and suburban environment. Eliza has been connected to Lake County since she moved here to attend Lake Forest College as an Environmental Studies major and stayed connected to the County through her work at the Chicago Botanic Garden. She is excited about the opportunity that Lake County faces in the areas of food, health and jobs.
