Heather Thompson is Executive Director of Enterprise Marketing with GROWMARK. She also serves as the business liaison to GROWMARK’s venture capital fund, Cooperative Ventures. Heather has held roles leading marketing, digital, and strategic projects with GROWMARK over the past 16 years.

Heather has a Bachelor’s in Communications and Political Science from Illinois College and a Master’s in Strategic Management from Indiana University. She is a 2023 graduate of the Illinois Ag Leadership Program and a 2021 graduate of GROWMARK’s Senior Leader Development Program. Heather serves on the boards of the Illinois Ag Leadership Foundation and the Children’s Discovery Museum of Normal, Ill. She and her husband grow corn and soybeans near Colfax, Ill. and have three children, ages 9, 6, and 1.
