Jenét DeCosta is the Sr. Director of Public Affairs at Driscoll’s which includes global responsibility for government relations, public policy, community relations and philanthropy. Driscoll’s is the global market leader for fresh strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries. With more than 100 years of farming heritage and hundreds of independent growers around the world, Driscoll’s is passionate about growing berries.
With a proven background in program and change management she held the role of chief of staff at Driscoll’s responsible for the operations of the CEO’s office, global internal communications, and charitable giving. Before joining Driscoll’s in 2012, she worked for the American Red Cross Biomedical Services Penn-Jersey region.
In 2022 she was appointed to the California State Board of Food & Agriculture where she has worked on the vision for agriculture in California’s future.
She received her degree in International Business from Ramapo College in New Jersey. She and her partner Scott reside in Santa Cruz county where she is a member of the Salsipuedes Sanitary district board and is active in her community

She held several roles at Driscoll’s, most notably, chief of staff from 2016-2023 where her responsibilities included the operations of the CEO’s office, global internal communications, and charitable giving. Before joining Driscoll’s in 2012, she worked for the American Red Cross Biomedical Services Penn-Jersey region.
Jenét values being an active force in shaping the future of her communities. In 2022, she was appointed to the California State Board of Food & Agriculture where she contributed to developing the vision for California’s agricultural future. She also serves on the Salsipuedes Sanitary District board in Santa Cruz county, where she and her partner Scott reside.
