Matt M. Danner is the co‐owner and managing partner of Templeton Family Farms. The farm is a multifaceted agricultural and contracting enterprise. Crop production consists of #2 yellow corn, popcorn, non‐GMO soybeans, and GMO seed soybeans. Additionally, the operation performs custom farming services, contract finishes swine and has a localized trucking operation for the farm and contracting business. The contracting enterprise consists of demolition, land improvement contracting, and crushing/recycling of concrete and asphalt. The enterprise operates within a 75‐mile circle in West Central Iowa. Prior to farming, Matt spent 10+ years with John Deere Company worldwide in the product support, design, and testing arena with extensive domestic and international travel experience. He is a graduate of Iowa State University with a BS in Ag Systems Technology and the Texas Executive Program for Ag Producers. Matt resides on several consulting and advisory panels for agriculture, technology, finance, and business strategy. He is a lifetime National FFA alumni member and a member of the AAPEX Ag Production Executives Group.
