Bio
Farm Foundation is an accelerator of practical solutions for agriculture. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit working to build momentum behind meaningful solutions to some of the biggest challenges facing food and agriculture. We focus on advancing solutions in the areas of farmer health, digital agriculture, market development and trade, and conservation and sustainability. Our objective, nonpartisan approach means we are uniquely able to bring together diverse perspectives to discuss and develop approaches free of agendas and fueled by facts and informed debate. Leveraging our reputation of nonadvocacy, we provide a safe space for discussing challenges and opportunities facing local agricultural communities and beyond.
Founded in 1933 by former Illinois Governor Frank Lowden and former International Harvester President Alexander Legge, Farm Foundation has deep roots in the Chicago area. Since our founding, we have maintained a relentless dedication to ensuring all the right stakeholders are involved and engaged in building a future for food and agriculture.
