Antonina Broyaka graduated with honors from Vinnytsia State Agricultural Institute (Vinnytsia, Ukraine) on specialty “Economist-organizer of agricultural production”, and received her Master's of Agricultural Management degree.  She also graduated with honors from the International Institute of Management and Marketing in Agribusiness of Warsaw Agrarian University, Poland, and received an MBA in Agri-food Business.

From September 1998 to March 2022, Antonina worked in multiple capacities at Vinnytsia National Agrarian University, Ukraine. She has authored (individually and co-authored) more than 60 publications of educational and methodological nature, and 70 scientific publications paying considerable attention to micro- and macroeconomic problems, strategic management of the national economy, principles of development of agro-industrial sector of economy, agricultural extension service, food security, current trends in foreign economic activity.

After the beginning of the Russian invasion into Ukraine, she moved to the United States and received refuge in Manhattan, Kansas. She is continuing research activity as an Extension Associate in the Agricultural Economics Department at Kansas State University on issues of the economic impacts of Russian military aggression on Ukrainian agriculture and global food security.
