Takashi Sadakane worked in MAFF (Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan) for more than 20 years. His most recent responsibility related to Japan’s food export policies including establishing the new export strategies, non-tariff measure negotiations and export production area development in MAFF. Before 2017, he was responsible for MA negotiations with the US in TPP, and US-Japan Trade agreement, EU-Japan EPA and RCEP for more than 5 years. Takashi earned his Bachelors Degree from the University of Tokyo in 1999 (Bachelor of Agriculture, International Sustainable Agriculture Development) and his Masters degree from the University of Florida (Master of Business Administration) in 2004.
