Taís is a PhD student in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at Colorado State University. She is also a researcher of the Agricultural Policy team at the Center for Advanced Studies on Applied Economics in Brazil. She studied Economic Sciences at the Federal University of São Paulo and holds a master’s and a PhD degree in Applied Economics from the University of São Paulo. Taís was a visiting researcher at Colorado State University from August 2021 to May 2022 under a Fulbright scholarship. Her research is focused on agricultural policy, animal health economics, and international trade.
