Dr. Zelikova is executive director of the Soil Carbon Solutions Center at Colorado State University and joint faculty in the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences. She earned her PhD from the University of Colorado and has worked on understanding the impacts of global change on plant community dynamics and biogeochemical processes. For the past 5 years, she has worked at the intersection of climate change science and policy, specifically focused on carbon removal and soil carbon sequestration in agricultural systems.
