Description
Washington State’s agriculture is a powerhouse of diversity and productivity, anchored by its rich soils, varied climate zones, and cutting-edge practices. Known globally for its apples, which produce over half the U.S. supply, the state is also a major producer of cherries, hops, pears, and wine grapes. While the eastern region thrives on large-scale wheat and potato farming, here on the western side, we see vibrant dairy, berry, and nursery operations. In this session, we get an inside look at how the state works with agriculture to ensure a vibrant future.
