Growing up on a South Dakota ranch homesteaded by his family in 1907 led Brian Jennings to dedicate his professional career to supporting farmers and ranchers. After working in government relations for a South Dakota farm organization, Jennings served on the staff of U.S. Senator Tim Johnson (D-SD) from 1997 through 2003. During his time on Capitol Hill, Brian worked on farm bills, livestock marketplace issues, crop insurance reform, trade, and renewable fuel policy. He became the CEO of the American Coalition for Ethanol (ACE) in 2004. ACE is a grassroots advocacy organization, powered by rural Americans from all walks of life who have built an innovative industry producing low carbon, homegrown biofuel. ACE members include U.S. ethanol biorefineries, farmers, and companies supplying goods and services to the U.S. ethanol industry. He is a graduate of South Dakota State University. Brian and his wife, Sarah, reside in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and have two children.
