Surabhi Dabir is a Senior Advisor with the Community Facilities Program at U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Housing Service. Surabhi provides strategic and policy advice to senior leadership on legislative, policy, and program priorities and conducts stakeholder outreach and engagement. She has been leading the effort to support rural hospitals through the provision of technical Assistance in partnership with the National Rural Health Association and has partnered with the Administration for Children and Families to develop a joint resource guide to strengthen and expand child care facilities in rural communities. Surabhi has over 30 years of expertise in rural housing and community development.

Surabhi has a Bachelor’s in Architecture from the University of Bombay and a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Michigan.
