Bruce Duerringer is President of the Green Planet division at Kaneka Americas Holding, Inc., responsible for activities associated with Kaneka’s PHA (polyhydroxyalkanoate) biopolymer, throughout North and South America. Bruce joined the biopolymers business in 2019. Bruce has been employed at Kaneka for 38 years and previously managed businesses involved with polymer additives, specialty resins, and thermoset tougheners. Bruce also spent three years managing the Purchasing Group at Kaneka North America. Bruce and the Green Planet team are based in the Houston suburb of Pasadena (Texas), where Kaneka has a 300-acre manufacturing complex.
