Rachel Ryan serves as the Technical Programs Lead for the Ocean Plastics Leadership Network (OPLN), a neutral, capacity-building organization that mobilizes hundreds of stakeholders across the entire plastics value chain to break down silos and address the most complex challenges of the plastic pollution crisis. Before joining OPLN, Rachel spent 9 years managing bi-lateral and multi-later donor and government funded development programs focused on essential services strengthening across 15+ countries. As a registered urban planner, she has collaborated with stakeholders on extended producer responsibility schemes, the effective use of waste data for decision-making, approaches for a just transition, and sound governance and investment mobilization for waste management and other essential services. She is honored to work with passionate communities and experts to address one of the most critical issues of our time.
