James Glueck, Jr., is the Executive Director at Plant Based Products Council. James leads the organization’s advocacy for a shift toward a more circular bioeconomy through greater adoption of renewable, plant-based materials. He works to educate stakeholders on programs and policies that will improve the value chain and support the growth of the plant-based products industry, helping to harness its economic potential and deliver a more sustainable future. Previously, James held many positions with the Torrey Advisory Group, the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition & Forestry, Senator Mike Johanns, Bunge North America, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in agricultural development with a minor in business and certificate in Spanish from Texas A&M University as well as a graduate certificate in Advanced International Affairs from the George Bush School of Government and Public Service.
