In addition to feeding a growing world, agriculture will very soon be asked to provide the inputs to replace petrochemicals and certain fossil fuels.   This session will explore these new demands to enable the synbio revolution to provide society with renewable products across industries as diverse as plastics to pharmaceuticals to paints, along with a look at the rural investments required and new markets they will provide farmers.
