Ted Bilyea is the Chief Strategy Officer and past Chair of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Agri-Food Policy Institute (CAPI). He is an agri-food consultant specializing in innovation, with clients in both the private and public sectors. He was formerly the Executive Vice-President of Maple Leaf Foods Inc. He holds a B.A. (Hons.) and an M.A. in International Relations from York University. Mr. Bilyea received the H.R. MacMillan Laureate in Agriculture from the University of Guelph and was inducted into the Canadian Agricultural Hall of Fame in 2018 joining the distinguished ranks of Canadians who have made outstanding contributions to Canadian agriculture throughout their careers.
