Mr. Liang Sun is the secretary general of the National Technical Committee on Carbon Emission Management of the Standardization Administration (SAC/TC 548), which focuses on the standardization of statistics and the supervision of carbon emission management. His work focusses on: (1) Research on methods for compiling regional carbon emission inventory, (2) Accounting and reporting of carbon emissions at the enterprise and project levels, (3) Low-carbon technologies and equipment, such as low-carbon products, carbon capture and storage and (4) Carbon neutrality and sinks. Mr. Liang Sun also serves as the co-Convener of ISO 14090-Climate Change Adaptation working group, responsible for the development of international standards.
