This session will spotlight how SfL, a Farm Foundation partner NGO, is advancing its land management model at the global, national, and state levels.

To help nurture the next generation of industry leaders, the Farm Foundation selects six university students to attend a Farm Foundation Round Table meeting. Students may be undergraduate or graduate level and are selected from a competitive pool of applicants, nominated by their college deans or department heads, from accredited North American Land Grant colleges or universities. In this session, this meeting's cohort of cultivators will present on a key aspect of their studies.

In this timely session, we’ll dig deep into the drivers, restraints, and opportunities for carbon trading in agriculture. While exploring how to scale up practices and de-risk adoption, panelists will envision the future and address the barriers and uncertainties that remain.

Join us to connect with Round Table Fellows and guests, all while helping to support our next generation programs. Hear from Cultivator alumni and other Farm Foundation next generation participants about the impact that Farm Foundation has had on their careers, and keep these programs thriving by participating in our Live Auction. Two of our new Honorary Life Fellows will also join us to share their personal stories of how Farm Foundation has impacted them since very early in their careers.

Sam Calagione, Brewer and Founder of Dogfish Head Brewery, will join us for Q&A and discussion of his company’s journey to becoming part of the second-largest craft brewery in the country. Sam will discuss Dogfish Head’s work with Indigo Ag and commitment to offsetting carbon and using sustainably sourced inputs. To top off the event, Sam will also lead us in a special beer tasting! If you’d like to participate in the tasting portion, you’ll need to purchase any (or all!) of the three beers below prior to Thursday night’s reception:
